Makes good coffee, fragile components

This pour over coffee kit is a convenient solution to be able to drink quality coffee when traveling or camping. It contains everything you need but a heat source and the actual coffee beans to make a nice cup of pour over coffee, which, IMO, is the next best thing to espresso. The grinder is small, so it you want more than 3 cups at a time, you'll need to fill the grinder multiple times, but it does an adequate job of providing good coffee grounds for pour-over. The glass carafe and glass coffee basket are very fragile, so you'll need to be careful when moving this about, even in the protective case. I had to have the first unit replaced because both the coffee basket and carafe were broken in shipping, even though they were strapped into the padded case. The good news is that I had a replacement in two days. It's a bit pricey, but for what you get in the convenient kit, I think it's a reasonable value. I'll definitely be taking this with me to the hunting lodge, where the other guys seem to be satisfied with weak, tasteless coffee made in the cheap drip coffee maker. They all think I'm a coffee snob anyway, lol!

Good starter pour over set

This pour over set came in a very nice case with pretty much everything you need to brew a solid cup of coffee and to experiment and learn about what works best.The case is easy to travel with and within it there are these little leather straps that holds everything into place. The glass pour over cone is of good quality, the scale is a little imprecise but it does have a timer function. The coffee grinder is a bit better than the cheap hand grinders you normally find.Overall this is a mid range set, that helps you get started quickly, and allows you to make good quality on the go.

This is a beautiful coffee making set for those on the go. I took one star away for only having one drinking vessel. My partner had to use the hotel's paper cup.Everything fits into a well made carrying case, there is no plastic involved and you get to have your favorite coffee while traveling.It was easy to use - bring your favorite coffee and just add hot water.This item is made to last and I think the price is reasonable. It would make a great gift for a coffee lover in your life.My pictures do not do this product justice. The photos in the listing are a perfect representation of this great travel product.

Everything you need to do pour over coffee on the go

I got this as a gift for my son, he loves pour over coffee. It's a really nice set, case is sturdy, and it comes with everything you need to take your coffee on the go and looks just like the picture, (it only has 1 cup) but it's also nice enough to display on the coffee bar and use at home. Pricing for pour over coffee set-ups is all over the place so I don't know if it's a good deal or not. The only thing I would say they should change is to include another cup.
