You can count the negative reviews I have left for any product on one hand in my entire life, on any format. I usually just shrug off a bad experience with a product, but this is different. If you are interested in this book then you must be at least debating about the prospect of opening a coffee shop, which will be an investment of thousands of dollars, and like me , you are looking at different resources to help format your plan. Which is why I purchased this book after searching through different books on amazon. But right off the bat you begin noticing that you have to re read sentences because some of them make no sense, such as this actual quote..."After creating a business plan,you would them know the pace of which things need to be started and completed what tasks have let to be finished. Every page has sentences like this, it's like he wrote it in text message and forgot to turn on auto correct. If you want to spend time translating the sentences into proper English, you may get benefit from this book, But I cant see reading advice from someone who doesn't care enough to proof read and edit his own book!

This was the perfect book to start reading about Coffee Shop. It is easy to understand and, unlike other books, not overwhelming. I found myself highlighting a number of pages that will be very useful as I start a new adventure. Thank you.

This is a solid book for introducing someone to opening any small business, but in particular a coffee shop. It's an all encompassing read covering such nuances as acquiring funding to how to properly decorate to both attract customers and ensure durability of the furniture. I never truly considered how much effort goes into opening a small business, particularly something I thought would be simple like a trendy coffee shop. I figured it was just a matter of making good coffee and creating a welcoming atmosphere, but it's clear after reading this that it's so much more than that. Things like the need to find not only good equipment but possibly finding good, used equipment to save money just never would have crossed my mind prior to reading this book and that's just one of literally hundreds of good ideas that are contained within. This book will give you a great starts on your road to a successful small business, so don't pass it up.

I love mom and pop coffee and tea shops and have always had a dream of starting one up to take me into my retirement. This book is a great resource! A lot of the information in here is so good that I feel like it could help any type of business out. Especially love the section on how to select the type of coffee to sell!

An easy read with a great overview of opening a coffee shop. The author is knowledgeable yet the information is not overly detailed. Thanks to the author for putting your time into writing this book! It definitely has my wheels spinning!
